God is in control

During this worldwide Covid-19 crisis, it is our prayer that we can continue to reach out to our community and show the love of Christ.

Due to the need for extra safety precautions, we have been meeting together via video conferencing in order to worship, pray, and fellowship through this difficult time. We are making efforts to expand our outreach through the use of technology.

Please know that God is with you during this difficult time. We must continue to lift up and encourage each other and not lose sight of our obligation to spread His love.

Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if there is some way we can help, encourage, or pray for you; and don't forget that God is in control!

Obedience = Action

I was doing a Bible study today that stressed the importance of not only hearing the words of Jesus, but also acting on them. The writer explained that as disciples we are called to a higher level of obedience to shape the culture around us by placing ourselves in a posture to learn from Jesus. It is important for us to study God's Word to gain understanding and develop obedience. In the words of Jesus, "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of mine, and does them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock" (Matt 7:24). When difficult times come, like now with this worldwide Covid-19 crisis, we can be prepared by being founded upon that rock- Jesus.  Most of us have a lot of extra time on our hands now- let's spend it wisely by getting closer to our Lord through study, prayer, and obedience....ACTION!
